Mathias Lauridsen, born January 13th, 1984 in Copenhagen, is a Danish model, perhaps known for his print ad campaign for Lacoste.
Lauridsen was discovered on the streets of Copenhagen back in 2003. With his unique features and charming good looks, he became a favorite of many advertisers instantly. He is a major force in three areas of modeling: editorials, campaigns and runways.
After the first two modeling assignments for local magazines, he was booked for the blockbuster campaign of Jil Sander. The campaign prints featured his gorgeous face and a visible scar on his left cheek, projecting a combination of boyish charm and masculinity. Fashion observers, photographers and average magazine readers all fell in love with him instantly.
For the next two years, Mathias has appeared in every major fashion editorial and has been featured in the ad campaigns of Christian Dior, Hermès, Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, Perry Ellis, DKNY, Lacoste, Kenzo, Tommy Hilfiger, Hugo Boss, and Gucci.
