Jesse Arthur McCartney (born April 9, 1987) is an American pop singer songwriter and Daytime Emmy-nominated actor.

McCartney initially came to fame in the early 2000s, as a member of the boy band Dream Street, and was the youngest out of all 5 people in the band and subsequently branched out into a solo career, having appeared on the television series Summerland. McCartney was born in Ardsley, New York USA, to Scot and Ginger McCartney.
