Actors to strip bare for Lady Chatterley’s Lover.

SHAKESPEARE Australia is preparing to launch its raunchiest play – including simulated sex and full- frontal nudity

Lead actors Hannah Norris and Jamieson Caldwell are prepared for a barrage of criticism ahead of the launch of Lady Chatterley’s Lover, which will see them perform naked at Rippon Lea House.

Shakespeare Australia had difficulty recruiting the male lead after several auditioning actors voiced concerns about the explicit sex scenes and, because the play is performed outdoors, possible “shrinkage”.

But actor and model Caldwell said he was “not at all” worried about getting his kit off, although he had experienced heckling from family members.

“I’m used to modelling, and don’t see the naked body as being a big deal, to be honest,” he said.

The play will run from February 1 until March 17.
