Sean O’Pry, 18, had been modeling for only some weeks. He started his career at the turn of the year. Since then, he’s completed two shoots for GQ, and made his catwalk début at Calvin Klein’s show. Of course, a flock of assignments followed. This native of Kennesaw, Georgia got found on MySpace. He’s still amazed he was scouted this way and he never thought he’d be a model (some just have a lucky star !). Sean has moved to Manhattan recently with the full support of his family, and has acquired something most Americans never have : a passport. “I’d never been outside of the South before. The first time I went to NYC was to model. And I only know two other people with passports”, he says. College is a plan temporarily on hold until he sees how the modeling goes; for the time being, he’s just having a blast…
